About TrueSafe Garage Door Repair
A locally owned, Christian-operated garage door repair company serving Garland, TX and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Our Story
My name is Andrew White, and I'm the owner and lead technician at TrueSafe Garage Door Repair. I started this company with one goal: give Garland homeowners a garage door repair service they can actually trust -- one that shows up on time, charges a fair price, and does the job right the first time.
I've been working on garage doors for years and have repaired hundreds of doors across Garland, Rowlett, Rockwall, Murphy, and the surrounding Dallas area. I know these neighborhoods, I know the common issues Texas weather causes for garage door springs and cables, and I know how to fix them fast.
As a Christian-owned business, our mission is simple: "Love your neighbor." That means honest pricing, no upsells you don't need, and treating your home with the same respect I'd want someone to treat mine.
We're not a franchise. When you call TrueSafe, you're talking directly to me -- the person who will show up at your door, diagnose the problem, and fix it. No middlemen, no subcontractors, no surprises.
How Our Pricing Works
The biggest complaint homeowners have about garage door companies is surprise charges -- a cheap price on the phone, then a much bigger number once the door is already in pieces. We don't work that way.
You get a written estimate before any work starts. If you don't like the number, you don't pay for the visit and there's no hard sell. What the estimate says is what you pay.
What actually moves the price on a repair:
- Door weight and size. A double door carries far more spring tension than a single, and needs heavier hardware.
- Spring type. Torsion, extension and TorqueMaster systems are priced differently, and high-cycle springs cost more up front but last roughly twice as long.
- How much is actually worn. If the cables and rollers are the same age as the spring that broke, replacing them together is cheaper than two separate visits.
- Repair versus replace. On an opener over 15 years old, replacement often costs less over the next few years than repairing it twice. We tell you which one we'd do.
Call and describe what the door is doing and we'll talk you through the likely cause and what it involves. The written estimate comes before any work, not after.
